About the Volkswagen Arteon
Giving drivers the first glimpse of the next generation of Volkswagen vehicles, the Arteon has the honor of being the brand's flagship sedan. Based on the Volkswagen Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) architecture, the Arteon features a fastback design that's distinctly different from its predecessor -- the Volkswagen CC. Offering more than 5 inches of additional length compared to the CC, the Volkswagen Arteon is longer, lower, and wider. Thanks to this increase in dimensions, the interior of the Arteon offers a spacious and luxurious environment that's packed with advanced tech features.

What's New for 2023
A number of exciting updates have been made to the flagship Volkswagen Arteon for the 2023 model year. Entry-level SE R-Line trim levels now come standard with LED headlights, fog lights, the adaptive lighting system, and a power-operated hatch. For SEL R-Line trims, last year’s 19-inch wheels have been replaced by larger 20-inch wheels for 2023. Finally, top-tier SEL Premium R-Line models receive 30-color interior ambient LED lighting and black carbon trim for 2023.

The Volkswagen Arteon is instantly recognizable for its swept-back rear roofline and a wide, planted stance. Sweeping lines found in its side profile are accented by frameless side windows, a wide chrome front grille, and standard LED headlights and taillights. At the rear, dual trapezoidal exhaust tips and a rear decklid spoiler add to the bold appearance of the Arteon. In addition to offering 5 inches of greater length than the outgoing CC, the Arteon also boasts shorter overhangs for a commanding presence on the road.
