The ID.4 and ID.Buzz are entirely different categories of vehicles, with the ID.4 being classified as a compact SUV while Volkswagen classifies the ID.Buzz as a bus. But don’t think that just because the ID.Buzz is so much bigger that the ID.4 isn’t a standout in its class for interior space.

Since they are built on the same platform, the drivetrain is one area where the ID.4 and ID.Buzz are fairly similar, although there are a few differences in the details. This makes it easier to choose, since you can focus on which vehicle type is the one you need, rather than what features they come with. For those who need the seats and the space, the ID.Buzz is the obvious choice. But for those who don’t, the lower starting price and more efficient drivetrain of the ID.4 is a logical alternative.
