Featuring a sleek, coupe-like design - the Atlas Cross Sport is positioned above the Tiguan and below the 7-seat Atlas in the growing Volkswagen SUV family. The Cross Sport is 2.8 inches shorter in length and 2.3 inches wider than the current Atlas, giving it an athletic stance on the road for enhanced handling. Buyers will be able to take advantage of its standard turbocharged TSI® 4-cylinder that produces 269 horsepower. A steeply raked rear pillar and rear hatch layout give the Atlas Cross Sport an unmistakable appearance on the road. What's New for 2024
Now in its fifth model year, the dynamic Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport receives a major refresh for 2024. Both the front and rear of the vehicle have been redesigned, giving it a more streamlined look than last year’s model. While last year’s previously optional 3.6-liter V6 has been discontinued, the Atlas Cross Sport now comes standard with a new 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that cranks out 269 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque. Other changes include redesigned interior materials, a larger 12-inch touchscreen display, and standard adaptive cruise with a lane-centering feature.

Building on the already eye-catching style of the Atlas, the Atlas Cross Sport adds an athletic persona to help you stand out from the crowd. Up front, it proudly wears a three-bar chrome grille along with a unique light signature that extends along the length of the top bar. An aggressively-styled front fascia is complemented by a sculpted hood. Its bold profile cascades rearwards as it tapers into a steeply raked rear hatch. Chrome accents are found on the rear bumper, windows, and lower body sides. R-Line trim levels receive piano black accents around the lower front air scoops along with striking available 21-inch alloy wheels. The Atlas Cross Sport looks poised and ready to perform from all angles.

To match the sport-focused exterior, the Atlas Cross Sport comes equipped with a driver-focused interior that’s packed with premium features and versatile cargo-carrying options. Upgrades over the existing Atlas include a sport-focused steering wheel, more intuitive controls, and optional stitching accents on both the door inserts and seats. Other luxurious comfort amenities available include heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and ventilated front seats. Audiophiles will be impressed by the optional Harman Kardon® Premium Audio System with 12 speakers. Even those riding in the rear will be able to stretch out and relax thanks to a total of 40.4 inches of rear-seat legroom. With the rear seats folded flat, the Atlas Cross Sport delivers a total of 77.6 cubic feet of cargo capacity.

Similarly, the Volkswagen Car-Net® suite of connected features provides unparalleled access to critical vehicle information. These features allow you to remotely start the vehicle (if equipped), monitor fuel levels, check your parking location, remotely lock or unlock the doors, and much more all from the mobile app. The optional Car-Net Hotspot provides up to four connections for mobile devices with 4G LTE-enabled speed.
