The premium performance of your Volkswagen requires a lot of precision moving parts, such as brake pads, engine belts, and windshield wiper blades, that will need to be replaced when they wear down. Non-moving parts such as your battery may need to be replaced as well.

Everyday wear is where Volkswagen Drive Easy Term Protection comes into play. This optional service plan covers parts and labor for components that commonly wear out, for up to six (6) years or 72,000 miles, with no deductible.

• Volkswagen equipment, speakers, and systems
• Badges and body insignia
• Tire wear

Coverage exclusions may apply:

• Any itemized excess wear and use charge that exceeds $1,000
• Repairs performed prior to lease agreement termination
• Charges for alterations or modifications to the vehicle
• Vehicles used for competitive driving, racing, or a prohibited commercial purpose
• Charges caused by customer's wrongful or reckless acts

If your vehicle is ever declared a total loss due to an accident, theft, or natural disaster, the amount your insurer pays may fall short of your finance agreement balance. That financial “gap” and your primary insurance deductible can add up to thousands of dollars.

Volkswagen Drive Easy Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) may help by waiving some or all of the difference between your primary insurance settlement and the outstanding balance on your vehicle finance agreement. GAP may also help provide coverage for your insurance deductible, subject to the terms and conditions of the program. It's your best bet for added protection in a worst-case scenario.

GAP benefits:

• Waives some or all of the difference between your primary insurance settlement and the outstanding balance on your vehicle's financing due to a covered total loss
• No maximum dollar amount on covered losses waived
• Includes waiver of up to $1,000 for your primary insurance deductible
• Transferable to another private party for a fee if your finance agreement is assumed
• Cancelable at any time, subject to a fee after 30 days

GAP is not available for purchase on a lease vehicle.

• Any amounts owed on your vehicle finance agreement resulting from late fees, due date changes, or from missed, delinquent, or skipped payments
• Total losses resulting from dishonest, fraudulent, or illegal acts (such as DUI) by customer, customer's family member, or other person acting under customer's authority
• Vehicles used for competitive racing or for a prohibited commercial purpose, including, but not limited to, ride share services
• If the customer has refinanced the vehicle finance agreement
• Deductions taken by the primary insurer, such as prior damage, salvage, missing items, excess towing, customer equipment, and storage

• Replacement of a tire if structurally damaged due to a covered road hazard

Lost or damaged vehicle key fobs and remotes can cost hundreds of dollars to replace. That's why it's a good option to get Volkswagen Drive Easy Key Protection. Whether your keys are lost, damaged, stolen, or locked inside your car, we've got you covered.

Key Protection benefits:

• Replacement of the covered vehicle key or remote if lost or damaged, up to $800 per occurrence
• Lockout assistance to unlock the covered vehicle if your vehicle keys are lost, damaged, or locked inside the covered vehicle, up to $100 per occurrence
• Towing assistance to the nearest Volkswagen dealer or authorized service provider if the covered vehicle key or remote is lost or damaged, up to $100 per occurrence
• Alternate transportation assistance, including taxi, rental vehicle, or public transportation reimbursement, up to $75 per occurrence

Fortunately, Volkswagen Drive Easy Theft Protection offers you a theft deterrent and recovery system to help minimize your losses, plus a Limited Warranty that provides a benefit of up to $5,000.

Theft Protection benefits:

• Distinctive theft deterrent window decals used to deter theft
• Vehicle marked with traceable identification codes used to help identify the owner of a recovered vehicle
• Up to $5,000 Limited Warranty Benefit if the Theft-Protection product fails to prevent the theft of the vehicle, and the vehicle is declared a total loss because either the vehicle is not recovered, or it is recovered but damaged beyond reasonable repair
• Coverage for six (6) years

Additional New York Theft Protection benefits:

Theft Protection will also provide the following additional coverage in the event your vehicle is stolen:

• Car rental reimbursement, including up to $25 a day for up to 30 days (maximum of $750 over the coverage period)
• Trip interruption reimbursement, including up to $100 a day for meals, hotel, and transportation in the event the vehicle is stolen more than 100 miles from your home (maximum of $300 over the coverage period)
• Homeowner's or renter's insurance deductible reimbursement of up to $1,000 if your valuables are stolen as a result of the theft of your vehicle
• Primary insurance deductible reimbursement of up to $500 if your vehicle is stolen

The Theft Protection product is permanently installed on the covered vehicle; therefore, the Theft Protection Program is not cancelable.

The Theft Protection product is permanently installed on the covered vehicle; therefore, the Theft Protection Program is not cancelable.

Lost or damaged vehicle key fobs and remotes can cost hundreds of dollars to replace. That's why it's a good option to get Volkswagen Drive Easy Key Protection. Whether your keys are lost, damaged, stolen, or locked inside your car, we've got you covered.

Key Protection benefits:

• Replacement of the covered vehicle key or remote if lost or damaged, up to $800 per occurrence
• Lockout assistance to unlock the covered vehicle if your vehicle keys are lost, damaged, or locked inside the covered vehicle, up to $100 per occurrence
• Towing assistance to the nearest Volkswagen dealer or authorized service provider if the covered vehicle key or remote is lost or damaged, up to $100 per occurrence
• Alternate transportation assistance, including taxi, rental vehicle, or public transportation reimbursement, up to $75 per occurrence
• Transferable for a fee if you sell your vehicle to a private party or if your lease agreement is assumed
• Cancelable at any time; after 30 days, pro rata refund will be provided, and $50 fee will apply

Additional benefits:

• Home lockout assistance if you lose your house keys along with your vehicle key ring, including locksmith reimbursement, up to $100 per occurrence, and coverage for up to three (3) replacement house keys during the Customer Agreement term, up to $75 per key replacement
• Replacement benefit for additional non-programmable keys on the same key ring as the covered vehicle key or remote, such as RV or trailer keys and office keys, up to $250 per occurrence
• Emergency message relay for up to three (3) emergency contacts
• No mileage limitations
• No deductible

Coverage exclusions may apply:

• Replacement keys if you did not receive two (2) master keys at the time of purchase or lease of the vehicle
• Replacement of keys covered by a manufacturer's, repairer's, or supplier's warranty or recall
• Any replacement keys made without prior authorization

Key Protection is available only at the time of vehicle purchase as part of a Multi-Coverage Protection Option or as a stand-alone product.
